Super TET Salary 2026
Selected Super TET candidates are appointed as Assistant Teachers in UP Government schools. The salary is governed by the 7th Pay Commission and UP Government pay structure.
In addition to basic pay, Super TET selected teachers receive Dearness Allowance (DA, revised periodically), House Rent Allowance (HRA based on city category), Transport Allowance (TA), medical benefits for self and family, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), gratuity, pension (NPS for new recruits), and annual increment. The job also offers paid leave, maternity/paternity leave, and summer vacation as per UP government school calendar.
Assistant Teachers can be promoted to Head Teacher, then to Block Education Officer (BEO) through departmental promotion or competitive exams. Senior teachers with good track records can also appear for higher education department posts through promotion channels.
