Stories must show the candidate's own voice — first person perspective. Avoid passive, fear-based, or negative outcomes. Practice writing 2 stories daily on different images for 4–6 weeks before your SSB.
• Physical Fitness Is Assessed — Not Optional: Army physical standards are among India's strictest. Vision requirements, BMI norms, flat-foot checks, and overall fitness are rigorously assessed. Begin a structured fitness programme well before your SSB — 6 months minimum. Target: 1.6 km run in under 7:30 minutes, 10+ pull-ups, 40+ push-ups.
