  1. 1
Prioritise Reasoning and Data Interpretation — These two sections each carry 60 marks (2 marks per question). Getting 22–24 questions right in each adds up to 90+ marks. Focus on puzzles, DI sets and arithmetic word problems daily.

Read banking and current affairs daily — The General/Economy/Banking Awareness section has 40 questions. Cover RBI announcements, banking news, government schemes and static GK every day.
  3. 3
Practise English with sectional tests — Reading Comprehension is the highest-weightage English topic. Attempt 2 RC passages daily. Focus on error spotting, para jumbles and cloze tests.
  4. 4
Prepare for the Local Language Test early — Many candidates ignore this stage and fail. Start practising reading, writing and comprehension in your local language (Tamil/Kannada/Marathi/Gujarati) from Day 1.
  5. 5
Take full mock tests and analyse every attempt — Attempt at least 20–25 full mock tests before the exam. After every test, identify weak areas and revise. Speed and accuracy both matter due to sectional time limits.
