BCA Admission Without Entrance Exam
Many colleges offer BCA admission based on 12th merit without any entrance exam. These include Lovely Professional University (LPU), Bennett University, several state universities. However, for top colleges (Christ, Symbiosis, Amity), entrance exams are mandatory.
Is Maths Compulsory for BCA?
📌 Maths in Class 12 is preferred but NOT mandatory at most BCA colleges. Commerce and Arts students with PCM as additional subject or without Maths can also apply to many BCA programs.
BCA to MCA Pathway
After BCA, you can pursue MCA (Master of Computer Applications) which is a 2-year postgraduate degree. Top MCA colleges: BITS Pilani, NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, Jadavpur University. Entrance via NIMCET or college-specific exams.
