SEBI Grade A Legal (Law Officer) is a prestigious regulatory legal career at SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India). LLB required with 60% marks. Phase 1 (200 marks) + Phase 2 Legal-specific paper (100 marks) + Interview. Salary ₹1.1 lakh+/month at sebi.gov.in.
SEBI Grade A Law Officers handle: drafting of SEBI regulations and circulars, handling adjudication proceedings, representing SEBI before SAT (Securities Appellate Tribunal) and courts, analyzing legal implications of market developments, enforcement actions against market violators, and providing legal opinions on SEBI's jurisdiction.
