Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Faculty of Law is one of India's oldest law faculties, established as part of the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College in the 19th century. AMU Law Entrance 2026 Age Limit

AMU Law Entrance 2026 Educational Qualifications

BA LLB (5-year): Passed Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with minimum 45% marks. Students appearing in Class 12 can apply provisionally.

• Solve AMU Previous Year Papers: AMU Law entrance has recurring question types in both Legal Aptitude and GK sections. 3–5 years of previous AMU Law papers provide the most targeted preparation input available.

AMU Law entrance previous year papers reveal consistent patterns: the Legal Aptitude section repeats certain constitutional provisions (Article 21 – Right to Life, Article 19 – Freedom of Speech) and Tort law scenarios (neighbour principle in Negligence, Rylands v Fletcher rule of strict liability) across years. GK questions regularly feature names of CJI (Chief Justice of India), recent Supreme Court landmark judgments, and AMU-specific developments. The AMU Law Entrance admit card is released on the official AMU portal approximately 2 weeks before the exam date. AMU releases the provisional answer key after the examination on its official portal. Candidates can raise objections within the specified window. The final answer key is used to compute scores and prepare the merit list for counselling.
